The NATIONAL HIGHWAYS AUTHORITY OF INDIA (NHAI) is an autonomous agency of the Government of India, set up by an act of the Parliament, NHAI Act, 1988 “An Act to provide for the constitution of an Authority for the development, maintenance and management of national highways and for matter connected therewith or incidental thereto”, and is responsible for management of a network of over 50,329 km of National Highways out of 1,15,000 km in India. It is a nodal agency of the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways.

Edapally to Kodungallur Highways Private Limitedis a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) formed to undertake the Six Laning from Kodungallur to Edapally section of NH-66 (old NH-17) From Design Ch.397+750 (Ex.km 411.850) to Design Chainage 423+780 (Ex.km 343.330 of NH-47) in the state of Kerala on Hybrid Annuity Mode under BharatmalaPariyojana. The SPV has awarded the construction of this highway to the M/S. Oriental Structural Engineers Pvt. Ltd. (OSE), which is one of the most reputed highway construction companies in India with a proven track record of timely and quality-based execution.
